THE JOB

The Touring Finance Department is in search of a highly motivated individual to join its team. We are looking for an individual who is both passionate about music and possesses a professional work ethic.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Management of financial accounting and tracking of nationwide club and theater level tours
• Review and reconciliation of show settlement files and support documents
• Preparation of artist payments related to shows and contractual obligations
• Preparation of various weekly and monthly internal and external management reports
• Assisting Senior Tour Analysts with settlements and other finance responsibilities related to larger scale tours, particularly during peak season
• Reconciling tour activity to General Ledger in conjunction with Accounting team
• Ensuring compliance with internal company policies and procedures, and providing audit support as needed
• Building relationships with Tour Promoters and Directors, Project Managers, and Local Accountants
• Collaborating with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiencies
• Participate in special ad hoc projects on an as-needed basis.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Associates degree in Finance, Business or related field
• 2 - 4 years of related work experience, Entertainment industry preferred
• Must be flexible, self-starter, growth-oriented and motivated team player
• Strong communication skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization as well as external clients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
• Strong Excel and computer skills
• Software experience preferred but not required: Business Objects, Salesforce
• COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions
