Contract Terms: Permanent 38 hours per week

As designers at Moshtix, we 'make live easy'. Easy for the event organisers to create unforgettable live experiences, easy for the Moshtix staff who support them behind the scenes and on-the-ground, and easy for the fans to access and experience their dream event.

THE JOB

As the Lead Product Designer, you will take ownership for the quality and impact of all experiences had by our users interacting with our digital products, and will work with other senior leaders in the business to shape Moshtix's growth strategy whilst also being involved in hands-on product and design work.

You will be expected to contribute by understanding the needs of event organisers, attendees, staff and the wider business, working to design and deliver products or improvements to solve problems or capitalise on discovered opportunities.

Moshtix is a subsidiary of Ticketmaster and, as part of Live Nation Entertainment is the largest live entertainment company in the world, consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing solutions, ecommerce and artist management. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Activities that are part of this role:
• Facilitate discovery and design workshops
• Conduct business analysis activities to uncover requirements
• Plan and conduct user research
• Plan and conduct competitor research
• Generate requirements documentation for scoping, prioritisation and development.
• Present research findings, concepts, designs and associated requirements clearly to internal stakeholders.
• Design of interfaces and interactions building up from wireframes to prototypes to test hypotheses.
• Conduct usability testing and take action on outcomes to iteratively improve on designs.
• Create and maintain the Moshtix Live Design System including components, patterns and associated documentation.
• Visual design and generation of design artefacts for use by developers.
• Keep up with the latest web trends and technologies and continually stay on top of best practices.
• Deliver beautiful and usable, go-to-market solutions working across multiple internal teams to ensure incremental improvement and ongoing growth.
• Understand long-term vision and strategic business goals of the department
• Proactive contribution during brainstorms and conceptual meetings and follow through to fruition

This role may also include the opportunity to lead and develop other design and product professionals as part of the Moshtix product team, which will require:
• Interviewing and hiring suitable team members
• Setting the design principles followed by the team
• Developing and improving the skills of team members
• Providing leadership and guidance on project work

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
• Experience with large-scale e-commerce sites, high-traffic portals, or complex software/application.
• Direct experience working within a cross functional product delivery environment is required.
• Thorough grounding in principals, methodology and practices relating to UX and human centered design.
• Experience working in a team of designers and creative leadership.
• The ability to think independently, understand technically complex briefs and to manage multiple projects is critical.
• Ability to think creatively and present concepts to clients and team members.
• A strong understanding of best/tried and true and current trends in UX/UI practices and web development.
• A solid understanding of capabilities and limitation of technologies that are used to create powerful interactive experiences incl. HTML / CSS / JS.
• Experience creating and managing pattern libraries and design systems
• Experience building low and high-fidelity prototypes.
• A portfolio showing process and the final impact of your work.
• Fully conversant in Sketch/Zeplin/Figma, Adobe Creative Suite(Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign), InVision
