THE JOB
We are seeking a Human Resources Manager for the Live Nation Concerts division, a segment of the Live Nation live music business. This position is a key business partner to our leadership teams. As a Human Resources Manager, you will provide senior level generalist support through consultative partnerships with leaders and their teams. You will help ensure that policies and procedures are understood and applied fairly and consistently and help support and develop the HR team. This role will report to the HR Director and will manage a team. **POSITION**
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Maintain HR Procedures and Practices
• Manages a team of HR professionals
• Provides advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy, and employment laws
• Conduct investigations of employee relations issues and resolve according to law,
company policy and precedent
• Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed and develops department goals, objectives, and systems
• Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
• Assists Management with employee performance appraisals
• Monitors career pathing, employee relations and counseling and provides an inside perspective to Senior Management
• Assists in development of people-management skills and provides objective perspective on employee issues
• Maintains open-door communication policy to staff concerns and issues
• Investigates and remedies harassment, abuse, or mistreatment of team-members
• Helps the Company maintain its commitment to diversity
• Manages relocation and other responsibilities related to staffing administration;
• Manages accommodation and leave requests in conjunction with our benefits team and management
• Collaborates with other departments (e.g., Risk Management, Employee Relations, Legal,
etc.) to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and
resolution
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Required:
• Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, legal studies, or related discipline
• 4-7 Years of progressive HR experience
• 1+ years of experience managing a HR team
• 3+ years of employee relations/ investigation experience
• Must have knowledge of State Employment Laws and Statutes
• This position requires strong communication skills with a supervisor. Ability to communicate effectively via email, video calls and periodic updates is essential
• Demonstrates a high level of integrity
• Experience with HRIS (preferably Workday)
• Occasional travel as needed
Preferred:
• Food & Beverage/Hospitality/Live Music Entertainment related experience
