Role Description

Joining the Live Nation EMEA Finance team as the Financial Controls Accountant you will immediately be integrated within the financial accounting function ensuring that effective controls are in place in markets across the division.

This role reports into the Financial Accounting Manager for the EMEA division of Live Nation.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and be looking to work in a head office financial accounting environment. Strong verbal and written communications skills are required to enable effective communication with employees around the world. The successful candidate should have excellent time management skills and be able to work with minimal supervision. A working knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley is an advantage.

What the role includes
• Detailed review of market balance sheets for correct accounting treatments.
• Tie back of market balance sheets to balance sheet reconciliations and review of those reconciliations to ensure controls are followed.
• Monthly detailed review of event accruals and deferrals
• Review and improvement of key controls being applied by European markets
• Support month/quarter end reporting to US parent, including AR over 90 days review and i ntercompany balance reviews
• Non-base balance quarterly SOX review
• Lease SOX controls (monthly/quarterly)
• Provision of feedback and support to markets
• Other ad hoc projects
