THE TEAM

The Financial Planning and Analysis (''FP&A'') team partners with and supports Ticketmaster business leaders by providing financial information to influence business strategy and decision making. We are also responsible for the consolidation of and reporting of Global divisional results, monthly forecasts and other ad hoc analysis to Live Nation.

THE JOB

The Ticketmaster FP&A Analyst is a newly created role and will be a key member of the FP&A team. The team partners with senior business leaders of the Ticketmaster Music, Distributed Commerce, Primary Marketing, Data Insights and Ticketmaster Marketplace teams.
Our ideal candidate possesses excellent quantitative, written and verbal skills and has the proven ability to work on projects independently. We are looking for someone who is hungry and eager to learn, contribute and grow.

The candidate must be able to consistently demonstrate the ability to be a trusted and reliable source of information and support.

It is an exciting time at Ticketmaster as we have returned to live following the pandemic and continue to integrate with our International finance counterparts.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Assist with FP&A month-end close reporting and analysis
• Support in the preparation of monthly reporting packages / results analysis for Senior Leaders
• Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budget for areas supported
• Compile data required for monthly ticketing and GTV metrics and load to financial system
• Liaise with Live Nation Corporate regarding metrics, monthly quarterly divisional reporting requests and subsequent inquiries
• Liaise with financial systems team for required customized reports, troubleshooting, etc.
• Partner with the Planning VP and Manager for quarterly preparation of the Quarterly Business Review (''QBR'') presentation and Live Nation Corporate templates, including Key Performance Indicators (''KPI''), key business trends and forecasts
• Partner with the Planning Manager, VP, CFO and Ticketmaster Strategy Team on ad hoc requests and analyses
• Enhance the development of Ticketmaster Global reporting, including working with Ticketmaster's International Finance team
• This role will report to the Manager of FP&A and have regular exposure to key business leaders including the CFO and COO

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES)
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 2+ years related work experience
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, its advanced functions, and modelling best practices; proficient MS Powerpoint user
• Keen attention to detail, particularly when working with large datasets, turning numbers into actionable insights
• Ability to help develop clear, data-driven business recommendations.
• Self-starter who thrives working in a fast paced, agile environment
• Public Accounting / Investment Banking / Corporate Finance FP&A experience a plus
