THE TEAM

The LiveAnalytics team is a market leading data analytics provider focused on innovation and unlocking the power of data for our clients. Some examples our product suite include prospecting models, brand affinity models, venue-selection models, season ticket retention models, pricing models and economic impact studies. The list goes on and there are more requests every day.

THE JOB

Ticketmaster LiveAnalytics team is looking for an experienced, motivated, and self-driven candidate who can contribute towards various aspects of taking the LiveAnalytics offering to the next level. This involves design, development, and production support of the client-facing systems as well as working with product teams and engineering teams in shaping the future of the client portal.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Design and build end to end data solution building statistical, mathematical/ML models to create solutions for propensity modelling, causal inference, predictive learning, segmenting, forecasting, and providing prescriptive analytics including data ingestions, preparations and creating delta lakes.
• Collaborate with colleagues and engineers on cross functional teams and access current capabilities and data availability to build required solutions.
• Design, train and deploy internal and external models utilizing the world's largest live event database.
• Aid in the analytical research, development, and deployment of products in Europe, Central American, and APAC.
• Able to generate technical data designs, product ideas and present it to the team through architecture diagrams and documentation.
• Provide technical subject matter expertise for data science project of large and small size.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES)
• Experience in data science, machine learning or similar role.
• Experience in SQL, Python, and other coding languages.
• Have understanding of statistical topics including multivariate regression, classification, graph models, correlation, regression, etc.
• Experience with machine learning, deep learning, and multiprocessing frameworks and telematic and timeseries data analysis.
• Strong machine learning background with experience in ML tool kits and algorithms.
• Experience with monitoring, improving, and measuring the performance of a model in production environment.
• An overall calm personality - ability to see the big picture and how the current team / task / project fits into it.

NICE TO HAVE
• Experience in building time series forecasts and prescriptive models.
• Experience creating statistical models and ml models
• Prototyping using BI tools like Amazon Quicksight
• Experience with AutoML, ML Ops and ML Flow.
• Guiding and mentoring skills - guiding and mentoring team members - helping them understand technologies, frameworks, and best practices and in general setting them up for success.

• Strong verbal communication, ability to clearly communicate ideas, work status, advocate for (or against) a particular approach or design.
• Documentation skills - ability to make the path easier for new team members / new hires / interns by organizing knowledge in Confluence, wiki, or similar.
• Ability to manage self and own time, deliver work on time, evaluate and estimate work
• Ability to work with various teams, including tech and product, incorporate their inputs into the work being done, and manage expectations on issues & enhancements.
