Data Analyst

Job Description

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Data Sciences, Statistics, or related field
• 3+ years of work experience in BI, Data Analytics or Data Science
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills
• Intermediate to expert knowledge in MS Office suite – specifically within Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share findings with shareholders
• Ability to work with large data sets
• Excellent knowledge of SQL queries
• Good knowledge of data warehousing
• Ideally would be familiar with S3, Athena, and Oracle
• Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies
• Good knowledge of Python and Java
• Marketing dataset knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities:
• Understand the goals of business users and translate those insights into actionable and impactful reporting and analytics
• Understand existing marketing data and create/ enhance data allocation models used for client settlement
• Design SQLs and logic to extract data from data source and work with technical team to create ETLs
• Keep track of marketing tables enhancements and work with technical team to make changes to ETLs
• Work with marketing team to prioritize requests from multiple stakeholders, create project plans, determine level of effort
• Analyze marketing data from multiple data sources and compare with financial reports
• Work with large data sets via automated and manual data processing to produce structured data sets for analysis
• Work with Finance users to resolve marketing data related issues on regular frequency
• Work with reporting developers to create user specific reports/ dashboards
