Role Description

We are looking for a B usiness A nalyst to join the UK & Ireland head office Finance team, reporting to the B usiness A nalysis M anager. The B usiness A nalyst will need to have a keen eye for attention to detail when assisting in the preparation of the business' consolidated actual, forecast, and budgeted reports and in regularly preparing key metric analysis for our US head office team for strategic decision making to drive the business forward.

The successful candidate will have a strong finance analytical background, be forward thinking with a positive attitude to change and be looking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Essential
• Proven experience within an accounting function
• Financial / Management reporting experience working to tight deadlines
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change

Desired / Not Essential
• AAT or Accounting Degree. P art qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA is desirable
• Experience of US GAAP
• Experience with a consolidating forecast tool (BPC/EPM)
• Experience of Business Intelligence software (Power BI)
• SQL experience
• Media & Entertainment/FMCG background

What the role includes
• Preparation of consolidated UK & Ireland Budget, Forecast and Actuals reporting packs to be delivered to head office, involving both financial and non-financial information with supporting commentary
• Prepare monthly internal forecast and actual operational reports with supporting commentary and analysis
• Working with key areas of the business to maintain the biweekly concert pacing schedules in accordance with the US reporting timetable
• Regular preparation and distribution of key metrics for senior management to facilitate decision-making towards the achievement of the budget and strategic plans
• Assist and support the business analysis manager to ensure relevant information is provided and deadlines are met during the preparation of consolidated monthly forecasts and annual budgets
• Assist the Business Analysis manager to maintain, create and produce key business analytical reports
• Complete short to medium term management information projects to help provide insight to t h e business
• Other ad hoc analysis reports as required
