Job Description
THE JOB

Live Nation is seeking a self-motivated and energetic Manager, Ancillary Product Pricing to support our revenue maximization efforts across our owned and operated large amphitheaters. This position will be responsible for leveraging data and analytics to drive pricing, inventory management, and strategy for ancillary product sales.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Maximize upsell revenue and drive sales volume by effectively pricing all products and efficiently managing inventory levels
• Analyze historical data, sales metrics, and industry trends to develop and implement optimal pricing strategy
• Maintain a pricing schedule that strategically places focus on inventory at appropriate times throughout the sales cycle to drive revenue and increase sell-through
• Track demand indicators prior to event on-sales to inform initial pricing decisions
• Monitor sales velocity throughout the sales cycle to adjust prices quickly to react to fluctuating demand and meet sales targets
• Introduce and scale the use of Ticketmaster's suite of Dynamic Pricing tools to drive more effective decision-making

Inventory Management
• Oversee inventory management strategy of ancillary upsells across all Live Nation owned and operated large amphitheaters and manage day-to-day yield optimization
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize upsell revenue through efficient inventory management throughout the sales cycle
• Collaborate with the Analytics team to provide recommendations on initial inventory allocations across all products
• Partner with PSS and Venue General Managers to ensure the correct inventory is put on sales for each event across all product offerings (e.g. bundles, standalone upsells, etc.)
• Proactively monitor ancillary inventory and provide recommendations on new ways to generate incremental revenue and drive sales volume through merchandising, distribution, and marketing
• Work with key stakeholders across the organization, including, but not limited to, Ticketing, Operations, PSS, Marketing, Finance, and Analytics to improve use of tools and processes to drive the business

Ancillary Event Creation
• Build all large amphitheater ancillary upsell events with the applicable inventory by venue and show
• Serve as liaison with Touring, Ticketmaster, General Managers and Box Office Managers to ensure all department standards are being met

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years of related experience in ticketing industry
• Experience in sports and/or live entertainment a plus
• Strong background in pricing, data analytics, reporting, and forecasting
• Results and bottom-line oriented
• Experience in sports and entertainment a plus
• Knowledge of Ticketmaster a plus
• Strategic and critical thinker who is dynamic, forward-thinking, analytical, and well-organized
• Expertise in utilizing MS Excel to conduct data analysis
• Proficiency in leveraging MS PowerPoint to communicate ideas
• Outstanding problem-solving capabilities to address and resolve issues that face a growing enterprise
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt to changes in a rapidly evolving environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Acute sense of judgement and tact
• Strong ability to manage many projects simultaneously
• Flexible and reliable team player both within the department and within the organization as a whole
• Self-starter who is entrepreneurial, extremely detailed-oriented, and works well under pressure
• Excellent time management skills
