THE TEAM

The Strategic Account Success team is new within the Ticketmaster North America Sales organization. This is a unique opportunity to be a founding member of a team chartered with supporting and driving value for Ticketmaster's most strategic accounts.

THE JOB
Our new team is looking for a hard-charging Data Analyst to envision and build our analytics capabilities around the core metrics driving account success. This collaborative role will query/pull data from multiple databases, QA data, and research and implement innovative ways to measure account success. The ideal candidate will also be skilled in creating dashboards and reports that track and prove value creation in a format that is easily accessible and understood by the business.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Handle large transactional and web data sets to help provide analyses covering ticket sales, marketing attribution, site analytics, incremental revenue streams, New-To-File, chain of custody and customer lifetime value
• Handle data from Salesforce.com and other internal datasets tracking product engagement, account touchpoints and other metrics around client account activity.
• Analyze and translate those data sets to measure performance and provide actionable insights identifying opportunities to prove (and improve) Ticketmaster's value proposition for our clients.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, gather their requirements, and define metrics that help measure performance
• Monitor and manage key databases to identify and fix any data integrity issues discovered
• Compile, consolidate and validate data from multiple sources into digestible formats
• Manage day to day reporting needs and support ad hoc data requests
• Create databases (SQL) and build dynamic dashboards to track key KPIs
• Work to ''democratize'' data, pushing it closer to business leaders and looking for areas to optimize and automate.

TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• Bachelor's degree required
• Able to write and run SQL queries to pull data required
• MS Excel expertise – lookups, pivot tables, dynamic charts and tables required
• Experience in relational databases required
• Experience with BI reporting tools such as DOMO, Tableau or MicroStrategy preferred
• Experience with Saleforce.com reporting tools preferred.
• Experience in data QA preferred
• Experience with mixed data sets – transactional, consumer, web, product usage, and account-based preferred.
• At least 1 year of business experience analyzing large data sets to successfully drive conclusions
• Prefer degree in quantitative field, such as Applied Math, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science
• COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions.

BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• Builder: We are creating new capabilities for Ticketmaster and may not have all the systems and tools and people in place. Be comfortable with that level of ambiguity and thrive on the challenge of driving the business and the function forward while building underlying capabilities.
• Creative Thinker: The role is not just about managing within predefined bounds; it's also about thinking outside of the box and introducing novel solutions. We value innovation and want someone who is comfortable challenging the status quo.
• Influencer: The role will not control all the resources that will make initiatives successful. We respect members who can work within a matrixed system and are motivated by understanding what makes others successful.
• Motivator: The role will require energy, optimism and a desire to deliver every day on behalf of our strategic accounts and fellow Ticketmaster team members.
