VP, Digital Creative Marketing (Creative Advertising)
Summary of Position
Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Vice President, Digital Creative Marketing in the Marketing Department of the Feature Film Division. This role is responsible for leading digital marketing efforts for our theatrical film campaigns supporting the Senior Vice President of Creative Advertising in all other aspects of digital/360 marketing; including strategic planning, creative execution, some social media and stunt/out of home creative ideas.
Responsibilities
• Lead and develop culturally relevant and impactful digital marketing campaigns that connect Lionsgate films with consumers across the world
• Create diverse range of marketing content and initiatives with an emphasis on mobile, social media, video, and display
• Communicate different facets of campaigns to executives, filmmakers, talent and talent representatives
• Serve as a cross-functional liaison across internal marketing divisions, including creative advertising, publicity, media, brand partnerships, exhibitor relations, and research, with a focus on leading collaborative cross-divisional initiatives
• Oversee a team of digital agencies – providing creative direction and strategic vision based on internal conversations, while shepherding scope, budget, and overall campaign resources
• Develop data-first initiatives for the Lionsgate brand as well as individual theatrical titles
Qualifications & Skills
• Expert in coming up with and inspiring great ideas, then using agencies for executing and finessing best-in-class digital creative
• Deep Knowledge of who the best agencies are and how to direct them to produce superior quality creative
• Deep understanding of digital media and how to make platform-bespoke creative that breaks through in a crowded marketplace
• Expert in how to implement impactful copy messaging and striking motion graphics to cut through differently on various platforms
• Expert on bleeding-edge trends and how to capitalize on latest culture and technology
• Sophisticated understanding of how to make exciting creative that fulfills strategic objectives
• Excellent copywriting, written communication and collaboration skills
• Excels in and enjoys a fast-moving and quickly changing environment
• Strong knowledge of digital media
• Experience in managing and mentoring others
• Out-of-the-box thinker in terms of coming up with groundbreaking ideas
• Self-starter/Intuitive Thinker
• Minimum of 5 years entertainment marketing experience directly responsible for the Creative Effort from start to finish
Nice to Haves
• Experience in Film Marketing at a Film Studio, Content Streamer or Creative Agency
• Experience in Marketing in Television
• Experience as a Creative Director at a Creative Agency that services content clients
• Experience in creating strong AV Creative, using editors, motion graphics artists, copywriters and music supervisors
• Experience in Copywriting
• Experience with Print Creative
