Job Description

Summary of Position

Lionsgate is currently seeking a Manager, Distribution, LATAM to report to the Vice President, Television Distribution, LATAM, in the Worldwide TV Sales department.

Responsibilities
• Represent Lionsgate's library of film and television product across a variety of clients in Latin America

• Taking responsibility for long term annual/quarterly sales budget and growing revenues;

• Support all aspects of sophisticated commercial negotiations to achieve strong licence fees and terms

• Maintain regular contact with licensees through correspondence, regular in person meetings and planned events and attendance at key programming markets. Conduct regular sales visits to designated territories/offices and accompany senior Lionsgate executives on trips.

• Effect the closure of deals by liaising with Legal Affairs, Rights & Clearances to ensure a streamlined process and be across high level contract finalization;

• Maintain sound deal management of finalized agreements, volume deals, and outputs;

• Support communication with different departments including legal, sales planning, servicing and finance.

• Develop excellent working relationship with other Lionsgate divisions with an ability to represent interests and needs of LG Int'l TV across different divisions.

• Manage pan-regional accounts by maintaining system updates and preparing multi-media avails.

• Work with research department to prepare regular reports on viewership trends and competitive landscape

Qualifications and Skills
• 3-5 years of experience in television sales, sales planning or acquisitions

• Ability to demonstrate significant top-line sales growth in a highly competitive, rapidly changing environment and proactive regarding new business opportunities;

• Sound deal analysis and estimate modelling skills for long term value of content using range of resources/verifiable information across multiple media and windows;

• Deep understanding of the TV/SVOD landscape in Latin America.

• General understanding of content windowing, rights, holdbacks and distribution contracts

• Rabid consumer of television and film content from the United States, Latin America, and around the world.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to confidently interact with all levels of Lionsgate and client management.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task, prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Proactively takes ownership and responsibility for working progress

• Takes initiative and seeks increased responsibilities

• Bachelor's Degree required

• Fluent in Spanish, Fluent in Portuguese preferred

• Advance Excel skills required
