Summary of Position:
Lionsgate is currently seeking a Manager, Domestic TV & Digital Distribution to report to the EVP, Domestic TV & Digital Distribution, in the Worldwide TV Sales department. The successful candidate will have experience in sales or acquisitions within content distribution and a deep knowledge of and passion for linear and digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Present, negotiate, and close deals for rights to current television and film product as well as content from Lionsgate's vast library to various platforms including Basic Cable, Broadcast, SVOD, and AVOD.
• Input and distribute Deal Memo summaries of closed deals.
• Research new networks or services to find untapped business development opportunities.
• Provide estimates to finance for potential sales related to new and ongoing sales initiatives.
• Liaise with Legal, Operations, Marketing, and Research to ensure compliance with and optimization of closed deals.
• Create clear, concise decks for internal and external presentations to high-level executives and key stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients in order to maximize sales impact.
Experience & Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales or acquisitions at a studio or platform
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully at all levels
• MS Office Suite proficiency, especially Excel and Powerpoint
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task, show initiative, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Must have a knowledge of and relationships with key industry players
