Summary of Position

The Salesforce Developer/Application Engineer will provide hands on administration, development, and daily end-user support of Lionsgate's multiple cloud-based software applications, including Salesforce. They will be a motivated self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team. They will be able to communicate effectively with business end users to guide requirements definition and testing efforts as well as to maintain a strong collaborative relationship. They will be able to quickly learn, and document, Lionsgate's business processes, facilitate the identification of process improvement opportunities, and help determine associated functional requirements to develop creative, user-friendly software application solutions. The ideal candidate will have a natural curiosity and interest in learning, as well as being capable of handling multiple inquiries/projects with varying deadlines in a face-paced environment. As a valued member of the team, they will have the opportunity to rapidly broaden their skillsets in both Media & Entertainment business processes as well as the many technical business solutions that support them.

Responsibilities
• Act as Salesforce administration and developer. Work closely with Salesforce consultants on new projects

• Work to continuously enhance Salesforce skills and work to obtain certifications, if not already complete

• Support data integration activities of both cloud and on-prem solutions

• Installs, and configures applications that reside on both Window servers, desktops, and the cloud

• Works with internal business users to understand business process and determine product requirements for possible selection, upgrades, integration, and general support

• Provides end-user training for supported applications.

• Setting expectations with business users for project timelines

• Setting project goals and guides development work

• Serving as the agent of change and process improvements

• Maintain strong collaborative relationships with our business users as well as our software vendors

Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

• 5+ years of related experience

• Salesforce Certifications: Administrator & Developer

• Experience using Salesforce Lightening web components, triggers, APEX coding, bulk API 2.0

• Experience developing with C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET development (includes older Microsoft development languages)

• Experience developing with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and SQL Server

• Understanding of different database architectures and schema designs

• Knowledge and development experience with integration tools such as Boomi & Integromat (Javascript functions)

• Expertise in designing efficient, scalable, yet maintainable systems

• Must demonstrate the ability to work independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

• Ability to communicate professionally, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to internal and external stakeholders

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills involving sound decision making and effective resolutions

Nice to Haves
• Knowledge of AD, DNS, IIS, Apache and general networking Understands cloud computing concepts, primarily related to AWS

• Familiarity with SharePoint, Airtable, Monday.com, AWS Cloud Practitioner

• Experience in business concepts and practices, preferably in Media & Entertainment
