Job Description

Summary of Position

The Front End Developer will work closely with the Interactive Design Director in creating and executing design experiences for Starz with the focus of marketing and promotional assets for Starz channels, applications, websites, rich banners and e-mailers.

Qualifications
• Builds and codes various front-end media such as websites and rich banners

• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences

• Partners with other designers and key players of the organization to design layouts and execute animations

• Knows guidelines of the brand well, helps to maintain visual consistency and update current layouts

• Facilitate the client's product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products

• Design and delivers optimized builds for a wide range of devices and interfaces

• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features

• Self-starter mindset that takes risks and champion new ideas

• Ability to work independently, focusing on key tasks while tracking essential details and deliverables

• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications & Skills
• 3-5+ years related experience (TV, Network, Agency or Post-Production facility a plus)

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline is preferred

• Expert level programming skills creating applications and websites

• Experience developing consumer facing user interfaces and supporting UI controls/components

• Must possess excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills which will be used to diagnose, debug and solve issues

• Passionate and knowledgeable about the latest design technology trends

• Ability to write clean, readable, maintainable code

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience instrumenting applications with digital marketing technologies

• Front End Design including HTML, CSS, sass, javascript, c#, webkit, gulp, react.js, vue.js, tom, bootstrap, github, terminal, VScode

• Knowledge of development Stacks such as React, Vue, Coffee Script

• Knowledge of related creative software (Photoshop, After Effects, etc)

• Knowledge of Rich Media building tools such as Double Click
