Summary of Position
Lionsgate is currently seeking a full-time Executive Director, Global Creative Advertising in our Global Creative Marketing department. This position acts as a Chief Project Manager to the Creative Advertising Team, ensuring that the creative advertising campaign for each movie is executed to the high standards with efficient and logical workflow, on-time and within budget. This position is responsible for crafting the creative advertising campaigns for feature films for all windows, including Domestic Theatrical, International, VOD and Home Entertainment. Core tenets of the department are logical problem-solving, accountability, time-management, creativity, teamwork, communication and diplomacy. The ideal candidate must be an organized, agile thinker, with initiative, excellent communications skills as well as a compassionate team-player. The role will require a hard-working and solution-based individual eager to help support the team, operationally. The candidate must be able to learn quickly to organize complex information and be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be easily adaptable to change.
Responsibilities
• Managing creative workflow across all platforms from ideation through finishing and delivery.
• Understanding complicated media deadlines and managing workflow to meet them on-time and under budget.
• Understanding creative, strategy and helping shape Trailers, TV, Spots, Digital and Print.
• Adapting key creative into International, Home Entertainment and shorter form creative
• Keeping the team organized and ready for internal updates, creative reviews and filmmaker meetings.
• Understanding finishing processes and working seamlessly to achieve synergy.
• Managing music clearances and legal/network clearances.
• Understanding and manage budgets, billing and cost-saving measures.
• Informing effectively across internal divisions: finishing, publicity, media, brand partnerships, exhibitor relations, strategy and research to meet the needs of each vertical.
• Work closely with Media, Publicity, Strategy and Social teams to ensure creative efforts march in lockstep with judicious goals.
• Adapting creative into shorter form creative and International/Home Entertainment assets.
Qualifications & Skills
• Min. 3 years Project Managing experience at Director Level in Movie Marketing at a Studio or as a Junior Producer/Creative-Director at a trailer house
• Experience with developing creative with a discerning eye with regard to editorial cuts, print creative, motion graphics and short-form storytelling
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure, dynamic environment
• Exceptional time-management skills and meet deadlines
• Experience in managing and mentoring
• Experience with giving direction to creative directors, editors, motion graphic designers, finishers and digital creatives
• Experience with video finishing details and QC
• Experience with legal, guild and network clearance
• Experience with communicating with talent reps
• Experience with planning shoots with outside producers
• Ability to project-manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Strong intuitive thinker, self-starter, meticulous attention to detail and organizational skill
• Passionate about advertising, music, film, tv, art, trends, and social media
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• Experience as an editor, finisher, designer and/or copywriter
