Summary of Position
The Coordinator, Global Earned Media & Communications will report to the Director, Global Earned Media & Communications as well as the Senior Vice President, Global Earned Media & Communications to assist in developing and implementing comprehensive publicity campaigns to promote Lionsgate theatrical releases throughout the lifecycle window.
Responsibilities
• Create overall talent schedules for all publicity activities throughout the campaign globally
• Book all talent travel including all transportation needs, hotels, greeters, security and special requests globally
• Negotiate, secure and oversee the booking and payment of all talent glam and security for all talent
• Handle below the line talent/assigned film talent directly including all press requests, schedules and travel needs
• Oversee the talent budget charts and track in budget
• Pitch and manage select press outlets as needed
• Monitor assigned outlet and journalist socials
• Monitor film talent socials
• Manage, with Director, 30+ International distributor partners per each film – distributing press materials, informing & aligning globally on material launches/creative debuts and facilitating their press involvement in junkets. As well as liaising with talent teams the international press plans/goals, unique to each market
• All team members to collaborate on: on-set press visits, edit bay visits, screening plans, material launches, sentiment reports, content days, junket asks, film maker decks, key dates, and review dates
Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a marketing and/or publicity capacity
• Bachelor's degree in communications or related degree
• Willingness to work overtime and be flexible with hours
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and deal with deadline pressure
• Strong work ethic
