Job Summary/Description:

KWCH/KSCW is looking for a part-time associate producer to assist with video editing, writing news stories and posting information on our digital platforms. This position supports the morning and noon newscast. The schedule is Tuesday-Friday from 7am-1pm.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
* Video editing
* Writing news copy
* Collaborate with show producers on content and format
* Writing and posting digital stories
* Opportunity to fill-in produce when needed

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Entry-level position; ability to learn quickly and retain information
* Video editing skills
* Knowledge of AP writing style
* Excellent communication skills - ability to write in clear and conversational language
* Working knowledge of current events and community issues
* Ability to handle and adjust to last-minute changes
