Job Summary/Description:

FOX5, KVVU Las Vegas, is already home to the markets' #1 morning news. And now we're looking for an experienced Executive Producer to lead and support this exceptional team of journalists.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated depth of experience in the following:
* Strong news producing skills and the ability to use that experience to mentor and guide a team of producers toward stated goals.
* Exceptional communication skills and experience in creating a positive team environment.
* Experience in being part of a forward thinking, contemporary news management team focused on balancing business needs with respect and support of the news staff.
* Excellent news judgement and decision making ability.
* Ability to work with the News Director as needed to implement policies and procedures within the department.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Ideal candidate should have at least 4 years experience as a producer, and significant previous experience as an Executive Producer. The successful applicant's background must include, at minimum, a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism or or the equivalent. No beginners.
