Multi-Platform Producer

KVAL is seeking a Multi-Platform Producer to write for our station's websites and social media. The candidate must have strong writing and editing skills for both digital and broadcast. Working well in a fast-paced environment is essential. This part-time position requires a four-year degree in journalism or mass communications with previous online or TV news experience.

Responsibilities:
• Writing copy for websites and newscasts
• Editing video for websites
• Posting stories online and to social media
• Assisting TV News Producers

Required Skills and Experience:
• The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to write quality online and broadcast news copy under tight deadlines
• You must have strong writing skills and good news judgment
• A 4-year degree in Journalism or Mass Communications
• Available to work all shifts including weekends
