DESCRIPTION:

CBS O&O in Dallas (KTVT) is looking for a dynamic and enterprising Multi Media Journalist. The MMJ will produce content for all platforms in a manner that is accurate, engaging and meaningful to news consumers.

MMJ's are responsible for enterprising content and delivering a story from start to finish. Must be able to shoot, write, edit and have knowledge of how to integrate news graphics into packages. Candidate will have strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that arise in the field. Must also have a dynamic on-air presence and the ability to deliver final news product creatively and concisely.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working with Inews and Grass Valley is desired. Candidates must be engaged digitally and understand how to utilize multi-platform content distribution. Familiarity with Zoom interviews is preferred. Knowledge of the DFW area is extremely helpful. Journalism or allied degree preferred.

Physical Demands: Must be able to carry and set up a camera on a tripod, have knowledge of how to light interview subjects and how to operate edit software with speed and accuracy.

Candidate must also have a valid driver's license and clean driving record in order to operate a company vehicle.
