Job Summary/Description:

KSWO, 7 NEWS is looking for a creative, aggressive and visual editor/photojournalist to join our award winning news team. The candidate must be able to work in a highly functioning, experienced, talented newsroom. Must have experience with non-linear equipment and have an ability to function in a deadline environment. Candidate will also be required to contribute content to digital platforms. Strong analytical and problem solving skills needed. If you have an eye for powerful pictures and an ear for great sound, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-- Editing video and sound for all 7 NEWS multimedia platforms
-- Shooting video as needed for news
-- Must display competence in videography and video editing
-- Must be capable of gathering news as part of a team or on your own
-- Responsible for maintaining assigned gear, operating ENG trucks and bonded cellular live devices (Live U)
-- Posting on all 7 NEWS digital platforms, editing digital video, as well as operating other mobile live devices
-- Driving a company vehicle and any other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
-- Flexible work hours required, must be willing and able to work a variety of shifts including but not limited to: mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights, holidays, weekends and possible overtime hours
-- Valid Drivers License
