About KOTA/KEVN:

KOTA/KEVN is both an ABC/FOX affiliate located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. We run local newscasts for both ABC and FOX on KOTA (ABC) and KEVN (FOX) Our state of the art studio has two separate news sets for the two affiliates. We run crispin for show and commercial play out and Overdrive for newscast presentation. We run 10 robotic cameras, with 9 in studio and one in the newsroom. We do a morning show, noon show 5:30pm news, 6pm news, 9 and 10pm news.

Job Summary/Description:

This is a full time TMP (Technical Media Producer) job opening. ABC and FOX working with programing ingest and playout. Working with local news to present local newscasts

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

Responsible for show and commercial ingestion as well as play out for both ABC and FOX shows. Working with the news department to code and present newscasts (Overdrive operation). EAS and transmitter logging to keep the station in FCC compliance. and other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum High School Diploma/ GED.
• Punctuality is vital. Must be reliable and have dependable transportation.
• Great communication skills and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to learn the operation of broadcast automation equipment for television broadcast.
• Computer literate and technically oriented.
