Job Description
KOKH/KOCB has an immediate opening for a Lifestyle Show Executive Producer to oversee our daily (M-F) local lifestyle show called Living Oklahoma which incorporates entertainment, community, paid segments and lifestyle segments. The ideal candidate will produce and oversee daily shows and work closely with the News Department and Sales leadership. The expectation is that the Executive Producer will lead by example and grow the ratings as well as the show's content and relevancy in the community.

Responsibilities:
• To provide motivation and leadership to those involved in the production of Living Oklahoma by showing the ability to lead by example and manage according to the guidelines set by the General Manager and Director of Sales
• Oversee daily lifestyle shows to ensure we are serving our local communities by sharing relevant information to alert, protect and empower our audiences
• Supervise producers and talent, review scripts, oversee schedules and provide feedback to encourage dynamic content while growing the skillset of your staff
• Manage content and situations to empower and grow our audiences, creating synergy between News and Living Oklahoma on air, via social channels and digitally
• Create new opportunities working with Sales by building relationships with clients
• Collaborate with News Director and other station managers (Sales, Promotion) to create special segments
• Planning and overseeing continuity and reliability within Living Oklahoma
• Represent Living Oklahoma within the station and community, as well as with clients and attend events as necessary

Required Skills and Experience:
• Have a solid understanding of FCC regulations and ability to comply with Station policies and procedures
• Proven track record of creating and producing compelling and engaging content for a lifestyle show
• Ability to perform well under pressure, while managing a fast workflow and meeting strict deadlines
• Ability to identity problems and creatively provide solutions
• A strong commitment to journalistic standards and ethics
• Extraordinary people skills with an emphasis on coaching and motivating with enthusiasm, collaboration and excellence
• Strong understanding of both digital and social
• Minimum of 2 years experience producing in a television content production environment or equivalent
• A college degree in Journalism or a related field is preferred
• Strong writing skills and a proven track record for getting results on initiatives
