Salary/Hourly Pay Range: $17-20.00 per hour - based on experience

Job Summary/Description:

KKTV is growing and is now in search of a high-energy person with a professional appearance and positive attitude. Excellent communication skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office are a must.

Sales assistant will assist the KKTV sales staff in the following areas:
• Client follow-up
• Preparing of presentations using PowerPoint and Word
• Order Entry
• Promotional support for station sponsored activities
• Traffic assignment
• Digital proof of performance preparation

Qualifications/Requirements:

Sales experience is not required; however, the drive to become a member of the region's top selling sales teams is essential. We are looking for people who are interested in becoming advertising account executives. Applicant should enjoy working in a culture that offers a professional environment with excellent opportunities to learn station operations. KKTV is looking for someone with a great attitude. If you have common sense and a sense of humor, you move to the front of the line. Candidate must have high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a driver's license, insurance, and a clean driving record, as you will occasionally be required to use your vehicle for business.

This is an entry level position to train new advertising sales account executives. The goal is to move the assistant into an account executive role when the opportunity arises. The speed of this transition is determined by how quickly the assistant masters their training and the environment of the sales team.

Advertising is a very popular career among graduates, and competition for jobs is strong. An account executive is a liaison between the station and the clients on their list.
