Job Summary/Description: Job Pay (Hourly/Salary): $17.00 (per hour)

This position is for a sales assistant/traffic specialist. The candidate MUST thrive in a fast paced environment and be flexible. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Requires use of a variety of computer programs unique to the TV and digital marketing industry – experience with specific computer programs is not required – we will train on programs, systems, and processes related to job duties. Looking for a candidate that has experience working with technology and learning job-specific computer programs and systems.
• Generate and prepare reporting from various computer systems (Example: Marketing Research Websites, TV Ratings Systems, Google Analytics etc.)
• Various duties relating to TV programming system including data entry (Example: enter TV program information, enter TV commercial information, download reports, etc.)
• Assist sales staff in entering orders in the TV programming and billing system
• Enter & submit forms for digital marketing campaigns (Example campaigns: Social Media, YouTube, Streaming TV etc.)
• Assist sales staff with campaign management (Example: move TV commercials to different times as needed, adjust orders for billing purposes, download reports etc.)
• Work with corporate staff to help keep local TV programming information updated in our system (Requires working with staff members who work remotely from out-of-state locations – requires strong communication skills)
• Assist sales managers in coordinating sales events
• Assist sales staff with computer systems, sales processes, and filling out forms
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Meet deadlines routinely and communicate clearly with supervisors or co-workers if there will be a delay
• Be efficient in PowerPoint, Microsoft products, and have the ability to quickly learn new systems
• Possess strong written & verbal communication skills
• Possess great troubleshooting AND problem-solving skills
• Have an interest in learning about a new industry and how things work
• Be a self-starter
• Have strong organizational skills
• Be detail oriented
• Be customer service oriented
• This candidate reports to the GM and the LSM and must work closely with a sales team, and a traffic hub that is located out of state. The preferred qualifications to begin a career as a sales assistant/traffic specialist include an associate's degree pertaining to marketing or advertising with exceptional data entry skills; although a high school diploma with strong administrative experience may be sufficient for this mid-level role.
