NEWS REPORTER (REMOTE - P/T) - KFYR

Job Summary/Description:

This position is a remote/part time reporter for KFYR, KMOT, KUMV, KQCD TV stations. Can be from out of state. Knowledge of western North Dakota preferred but not required. General assignment reporter duties. Phone, zoom, Microsoft Word, basic journalism skills required. Employee agrees not to perform Services, authorize or permit the use of Employee's name, image or likeness, or make personal appearances in connection with services performed for or by any other company, business or interest, which conflicts with the full and faithful performance of Employee's duties for Employer, without the prior written consent of Employer. Employee will not prepare or provide, for publication by persons or entities other than Employer.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• BS in Communications/Broadcast Journalism or equivalent
• Competitive, energetic and self-starter
• Strong writing and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks
