Job Summary/Description:

KFDA is seeking a Full-Time Production Assistant to join our team. Successful candidate will perform traditional production assistant duties (audio, studio cameras and video editor) as well as a technical director and field photographer duties. This is an exciting position with great potential for upward mobility. Qualified applicants should be highly motivated and eager to learn all positions within our production and news department.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Operate studio cameras and audio console for live and recorded programming
- Setting up/breaking down the studio
- Technical Directing for live and recorded programming
- Field Photographer and operating bonded cellular live devices (Live U)
- Responsible for maintaining assigned equipment
- Monitor and operate OTT Digital Suites
- Editing video for all platforms
- Monitor on-air signals for KFDA/KZBZ/KEYU, ingest daily programming and commercials, and operate Master Control

Qualifications/Requirements:
- College Degree and/or relevant experience required
- Flexible work hours required, including holidays, weekends, mornings, evenings and possible overtime hours
- Creative, extremely detail-oriented and have very strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, communication skills and working on deadline
- Work in extreme temperatures (Hot/Cold)
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Pre-employment drug screen and MVR check required
