Job Summary/Description:

You must have a passion for weather to work in an area that gets everything from tornadoes to snow storms, and plenty of beautiful days between. This is an opportunity that will provide support to grow and improve your presentation, at a dominant station. KCBD is the clear leader in weather coverage on the South Plains.

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Primary role: Producing and presenting clear, accurate, and engaging forecasts on weekends and other newscasts
- Updating station's digital platforms
- Available 24/7 during severe weather season (March-June)

Qualifications/Requirements:
- We prefer a candidate with a four-year degree in meteorology or related field
- Experience with WSI weather technology is a plus
- Excellent driving record required
