Job Summary/Description:

Sales Assistant opening for the ideal candidate that has excellent communication skills, professional demeanor and eager to learn in a fast-paced atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, professional demeanor and be eager to learn in this fast-paced atmosphere. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry. Initial responsibilities include high phone traffic, greeting incoming guests and clerical support.

This individual will assist all departments within the television station, and will specialize in supporting our sales staff in the following areas:
• Order & Traffic Entry
• Collections & Billing
• Preparing reports and presentations
• Some oversight of sales initiatives
• Other tasks as needed to assist the sales department or station projects

Qualifications/Requirements:

Sales experience is not required; however, the drive to become a member of the top-selling media sales team in town is instrumental. Applicant should enjoy working in a team atmosphere with an excellent opportunity to learn about broadcast television station operations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; College Degree Preferred
• Valid Driver's license
• Current insurance
• Clean driving record
• Dependable personal vehicle
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
