Job Description

KADN News15, the FOX and NBC affiliate in Lafayette, LA, is looking for an anchor to join our team in telling the stories of Acadiana, anchoring newscasts, and focusing on all that makes the area one of the most interesting and fun places anywhere.

The Principal Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Anchoring primarily weekday morning newscasts in addition to occasional noon or evening newscasts across the more than 40 hours of live news we produce weekly.
• Produce or assistant produce the newscasts you anchor
• Report the news by gathering information, setting up interviews, writing stories, and shooting and editing video.
• Write stories for on-air, online, and for social media.
• Relay information to viewers/readers in a clear, understandable, fair, and accurate manner
• Represent the station at community events such as parades, station sponsored events, speeches at schools or to various organizations, etc.
• Be available for various promotional shoots
