THE ROLE
The Social Affiliate Coordinator will report to the Affiliate Marketing Manager and will help manage, as well as assist with the onboarding and growth plan for our internal affiliate and promoter programs. The ideal candidate for this role is an effective communicator who works well under pressure and is highly familiar with social media and influencer marketing. This is not a remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Reports to Affiliate Marketing Manager, and coordinates internal affiliate and promoter programs, on-boarding and growth plan
• Provide support at festivals to assist with onsite content creation
• Facilitate and organize affiliate/promoter meetups
• Assist with department communication, accounting and advancing
• Participate in team brainstorms for event strategy and planning
• Help develop compelling user generated content (UGC) for affiliate campaigns on social media channels
• Other special projects and tasks as assigned as needed
• Some travel may be required (economy)
QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years' experience with influencer marketing and social media
• 2+ years in music entertainment industry preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field/experience preferred
• Well-rounded understanding of electronic music, festival culture, and the live music space
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrates creative, out of the box thinking
• Detail-oriented and able to coordinate multiple work streams under deadline pressure
• Ability to take initiative problem solve and perform research
• Knowledge of the principles of target and influencer marketing
• Lives and breathes social media, up-to-date with latest trends, and meme/internet culture
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
• May work in drastic temperature climates
• Must be willing to frequently work and travel to events during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines and work events
