THE ROLE

The Production Manager provides management and oversight to the New Media department with content assignments, ranging from project management, asset sourcing, programming, localization tracking & production shoots as needed. It assists in all stages of projects from assignment through final delivery. The Production Manager will report to the Director of Operations. This is not a remote position.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Liaise cross departmentally on all relevant needs as determined by manager and projects
• Liaise with Festival Manager, marketing, social media, sponsorship, VIP/Passport, and special project leads on Media needs and fulfillment
• Manage film & photo requests for all artists, including all relevant paperwork
• Source film equipment and hire film/photo crew and editors for shoots at festivals, on-set, and in house
• Manage & track all crew offers and relevant paperwork
• Assist with building and actualizing film production budgets with a strong sense of numbers and prior knowledge of film production necessities
• Handle all show logistics from pre-production to end of show
• Organize, compile, and submit all production advances
• Manage and book all business travel for department
• Manage travel, transportation, walkthrough, and other location logistics for shoots
• Manage crews & media office on site at shows
• Distribute materials, documents, and information as needed
• Manage all in-house video shoots, including all festivals as needed
• Accurately submit all film and photo invoices in a timely fashion along with approvals
• Traffic in-house and outsourced video requests and content
• Communicate notes and revisions in real time between editors and stakeholders
• Manage special projects as assigned on a regular or occasional basis
• Ensure that all necessary permitting has been taken care of for each respective job location
• Train and onboard members on the team both directly and partnering teams
• Other special projects and tasks as assigned as needed
• Frequent travel may be required (economy)

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree or extensive production experience
• Experience in tracking and maintaining budgets
• Experience hiring and managing studio or set crews
• Detailed planning, time management and organizational skills
• High organization and detailed-oriented skills
• Ability to problem solve, be resourceful, & work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent follow through and follow up skills
• Must be motivated with an ''Everything is possible'' attitude
• Ability to escalate issues as needed for resolution
• Ability to multi-task in a high pressure, fast-moving environment
• Strong ability to shift priorities with a strong understanding of time sensitivity and prioritization

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
• May work in drastic temperature climates
• Must be willing to frequently work and travel to events during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines and work events
