THE ROLE
Insomniac Events is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to lead and support the marketing of our co-owned festivals and events. This role sets up, manages, and executes effective marketing campaigns to sell tickets and build festival brands. You need to have a well-rounded event marketing skill set, with a focus on digital marketing, and experience in project management. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, can apply consumer insights to inform your marketing plans, and collaborate well with others. This is not a remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conceptualize efficient event marketing campaigns across the entire marketing mix
• Evaluate executions during and after campaign launch for optimization
• Manage and deliver multiple marketing campaigns for large music Festivals on time, on budget and to our quality standards
• Manage the day-to-day implementation of multiple festival marketing plans collaborating with cross departmental teams
• Collaborate with marketing teams of partners in various regions to deliver best possible campaign translating to ticket sales
• Collaborate with internal marketing, media, and other stakeholders to create impactful marketing assets that drive excitement for our brands and sell tickets.
• Own festival marketing budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation
• Develop and deliver campaign recaps, updates and brand reporting with accuracy and in a timely manner; recommendations for future execution
• Manage relationships with outside media and PR agencies, publishers, vendors, and partners
• Lead marketing efforts on site at events, facilitating content creation and storytelling to grow our festival audience
• Track, analyze, and present metrics to marketing leadership with insights on impact to company and clear recommendations on how to move forward
• Attend and work company events (domestic or international travel expected economy class)
• Responsible for other projects as assigned on a regular or occasional basis
• Recruit, train and onboard members on the team both directly and partnering teams
• Other special projects and tasks as assigned as needed
• Some travel may be required (economy)
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field (7 years of equivalent marketing experience)
• 5+ Event Marketing experience, preferably in music and/or entertainment industries
• 3+ Brand marketing experience preferred
• 3+ years experience in developing multi-channel marketing campaigns
• Proven ability to create effective event marketing plans and manage execution in collaboration with cross functional teams
• Experience with event pricing and ticketing strategies
• Experience in creating impactful marketing assets, CTAs, content, and storytelling
• Experience in digital marketing, ad buying, and ad campaign management
• Ability to use marketing funnel insights to identify trends and make effective tactical recommendations
• Experience with common analytic tools, (analytics, CRM data, etc.)
• Ability to use Adobe Photoshop and a basic understanding of HTML a plus
• Team player, problem solver, adapter
• Proficient user in Microsoft Office products
REQUIREMENTS
• Uses personal vehicle to travel to business engagements; may travel out of town on business
• Must have clean criminal and driving record, current license, passport, and car insurance

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
• May work in drastic temperature climates
• Must be willing to frequently work and travel to events during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines and work events
