THE ROLE

The Site Environmental Crew Lead is responsible for ensuring the success of event productions by managing the technical and personnel aspects of the Site Environmental department and entire site by supporting and collaborating with the project manager and head of department

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage Site Exp. laborers and other crew
• Oversee maintenance on lighting advising on repairs as needed
• Responsible for safe and consistent operation of all equipment
• Advise on upgrades of site elements
• Report any employee issues in a timely manner to head of department
• Report equipment problems to head of department
• Transport elements as directed
• Manage all employees fairly, maintain a professional and supportive work environment
• Conduct daily rounds on all areas that fall under responsibility
• Follow up on work assignments given to crew
• Ensure that working conditions are safe and that employees are following safe working procedures
• Safely operate various types of heavy equipment and vehicles
• Follow all safety, corporate and department policies
• Record all work performed daily and report to head of department
• Project a professional image by working steadily, being a team player and being responsible for personal actions
• Prioritize workload
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Use various hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment
• Assist with maintenance of equipment as needed
• Comply with company safety regulations
• Operate and care for work areas in a safe, clean manner
• Assist with emergency and unscheduled repairs
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Detect faulty operations and defective material
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed

QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years experience in festival or concert tour experience
• Must possess valid and current driver's license
• Must possess valid and current US Passport
• Must possess valid and current forklift and lull certification
• Working knowledge of web and mobile technologies
• Must possess working mobile device, preferably a smartphone
• Must possess valid and current credit card for hotel incidentals
• Ability to operate equipment such as forklift, boom lift, scissor lift ect.
• Ability to use hand tools, saws, ect.
• Knowledge in lighting, audio and video
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to make clear and concise decisions; sometimes with limited information
• Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs and lifting up to 75lb

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
• May work in drastic temperature climates
• Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours and travel to events, as required, to meet deadlines
