Your Mission

As a Sr. Product Manager you will support the design and live-service vision across multiple Call of Duty features and products produced and contributed by the new Infinity Ward Austin studio. You will give data-driven insights and designs to maximize engagement and retention in a player-focused live environment.

Reporting to the Game Director, you will partner with various external and internal partners at Activision and Infinity Ward Austin to ensure the product strategy, creative vision, and player experience are fully optimized, while looking for new opportunities to grow player engagement.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
• Drive Strategy and Innovation - Look for new critical initiatives to drive and lead to implementation in the game.
• Event Strategy and Management - Help support events and come up with new ideas for how to deliver future events in COD.
• Business Opportunity Analysis - Find opportunities and develop supporting materials with quantitative and qualitative-driven insights, advocating for creative and innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Competitive Intelligence - Understand how different games operate their live services to help inform some of our strategic decisions.
• Data Analytics Initiatives - Find new ideas to A/B test to further the growth of the COD live services ecosystem.
• Performance Tracking - Monitor performance of live services promotions and initiatives to understand run rates / trends to help continue to grow COD live services.
• Be The Product Expert - Understand the player journey and create best-in-class messaging that lives both in-game and out, ensuring key selling features and product info is represented accurately in market with a strategic lens towards improving comprehension, conversion, and player satisfaction.
• Player Champion - embody the ''player'' view internally, driving a fan first viewpoint across the org and post-launch product plans; ensure that the player's voice helps drive the direction of the franchise.

Player Profile

Experience
• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably from gaming (console, PC, or mobile); entertainment; technology; or consumer products.
• Experience in feature or system design, virtual economy management, and live operations.

Knowledge & Skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and shape an existing product by continuously seeking out and pursuing new opportunities.
• Data-driven attitude that is able to understand our player base and market trends and translate them into business opportunities.
• Proven ability to generate innovative ideas and solve complex problems while staying true to Infinity Ward's core values.
• Familiarity with behavioral economic concepts, data analysis, UX/UI, game systems design, and A/B testing.
• Ability to balance a data-driven attitude with creative problem solving, while maintaining a player-focused perspective.
• Exceptional business judgment with a strategic and analytical attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to articulate complex ideas and influence others.

In the US, the standard base pay range for this role is $80,800.00 - $149,400.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the US and is not applicable to locations outside of the US Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
