Your Mission

As a Production Director you will be responsible for the overall management of the Production Department. You will be the primary point of contact for all scheduling matters for all stakeholders across the entire Studio. You will work directly with other Discipline Directors (Art, Tech, Design, etc.) to develop milestones and deliverable for the entire project. The Production Director works with the Studio Managing Director to coordinate work across studios and on efforts across the entire Call of Duty franchise. As one of the several studio directors you will help to establish a culture of excellence, responsibility, and accountability. As a department and studio leader you will ensure a safe and equitable working environment that allows the entire team to work effectively together to achieve the high goals, we set for ourselves to deliver world class games for our players.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
• Provide accurate and timely project management information to all stakeholders to inform decision making.
• Along with the Producer, drives the creation of a flexible project plan including milestone deliverables, requirements definition, team member assignment, capacity planning and release planning for the broad sections of the project he/she is responsible for.
• Oversees a team of Producers and guides the work of that team.
• Reviews schedules generated and maintained by Producers and tracks progress for all areas and oversees the scheduling duties of the Producers.
• Proactively identifies and solves productivity, personnel, and project issues and dependency problems.
• Understands the dynamics among disciplines as they relate to developing a game and knows when and how to make sure items of importance are communicated across disciplines.
• Excel at communication among the production team and leads.
• Co-ordinate with partners/studios within Activision.
• Will establish career paths for production department members.
• Work with the team to ensure clear definition, prioritization and communication of goals.
• Help develop and evolve new and existing production methodologies at Infinity Ward.

Player Profile

Experience:
• At least 4 relevant published titles as a Producer, Senior Producer, or Project Manager.
• Experience working with external teams.
• Proven track record of effectively leading complex teams.

Knowledge & Skills:
• College degree preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of game development, from concept to submission as well as sustained development post launch.
• Track record of project planning being successfully executed leading to the timely delivery of quality products.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software e.g. Hansoft, Jira, DevTrack.
• Ability to help develop and evolve new and existing production methodologies at Infinity Ward.
