Job Description

Hulu's Web team is seeking a Software Developer with a passion for developing performant, consumer-facing experiences using modern web technologies. Our team collaborates with both technical and non-technical teams to deliver engaging experiences for our subscribers. As a developer on Hulu's Webby-award winning web team, you'll build and deploy the non-subscriber experience, the 'front porch' of Hulu and its main funnel for subscriber acquisition. WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Develop software & infrastructure that powers the Hulu.com non-subscriber experience
• Partner with the UX design team to transform mock-ups into engaging, accessible web experiences
• Collaborate with Product Managers to help scope features, identify potential trade-offs, and ensure we're building the right thing for our users

WHAT TO BRING
• 3+ years professional experience developing large, well-tested JavaScript applications
• Strong knowledge of web technologies and the browser environment
• Experience working with and processing data from web APIs
• Experience shipping production React/Node.js applications
• Excellent front-end debugging skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• BS degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

NICE-TO-HAVES
• Experience working with GraphQL
• Experience working with Next.js and server-side rendered applications
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
• Experience working with a headless CMS
• Experience working with Nginx
• Working knowledge of web accessibility fundamentals
