Job Description

The Senior Multicultural Marketing Manager will be a key leader and contributor to the Brand, Live and Licensed Marketing team. Specifically, the role will be responsible for a variety of initiatives including leading cross-functional teams in the development of best in class marketing campaigns that drive awareness, subscriptions and engagement among Multicultural audiences. This seasoned marketer would lead Hulu's marketing campaigns targeting these specific audiences in close alignment with our Brand Team, work cross functionally with Content Marketing on relevant content campaigns and partner broadly across On-channel programming, PR, Social, Growth, to develop alignment around these consumer targeted promotions. You will bring a strong background in tailoring culturally specific but broad content marketing campaigns, business track record of strategic acumen, campaign management and execution and are an innovative and outside-the-box marketing strategist who is interested in ways to differentiate and grow Hulu in the competitive landscape, and in particular with the target audiences. You are highly organized, self-motivated, focused and able to work effectively cross-departmentally to understand key players, communicate effectively and gain agreement.
• Develop and execute marketing plans for cultural tentpoles, pro-social and content campaigns that specifically target Multicultural audiences and prioritize efforts around specific audiences to develop campaigns that will aim to grow awareness, subscriptions, content engagement, or other related metrics.
• Provide thought leadership and provide perspective on embedding an inclusive and culturally relevant approach to cross company marketing initiatives including authentic representation, storytelling and language
• Manage relationships with cross-functional teams and across the entire Disney Enterprise to execute campaigns; in particular, coordinate in lockstep with other marketing functions, including Email marketing, Social, Creative, Media and PR to ensure smooth execution and that campaigns align with overall initiatives and timelines
• Working cross functionally with key partners on teams including Content Acquisition, Product Marketing, Finance, DNA, to ensure that Marketing POV on targeting, and to determine consumer and business impact of above campaigns and initiatives
• Identify new audiences and areas of focus for existing identified audiences and work cross functionally to determine business opportunity and subsequent marketing tactics
• Provide thought leadership on standard methodologies in Multicultural Marketing
• Work with outside partners including talent, agencies, influencers, studios, production companies and more
• Additional support as needed

• 7-10 years of relevant experience in marketing to specific audience groups, proven history of executing content marketing campaigns and developing new processes and strategies that drive marketing campaign success
• A passion for storytelling and marketing
• Strong listening skills and the ability to authentically reflect the needs of specific audiences
• Ability to think equal parts strategically, analytically and creatively and use research based and cultural insights
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
• Experience managing creative development and demanding creative excellence
• Exceptional communication skills and a true cross-functional collaborator
• Highly skilled in PowerPoint and Excel
• Superb work ethic and positive, can-do attitude
• A love for television and film and desire to change the status quo

• MBA preferable
• Consulting experience
