Job Description
The Business Strategy and Analytics department is a unique in-house consulting team within the Houston Rockets & Toyota Center business operations. The department's mission is to empower the organization to make informed, data-driven decisions based on timely, accurate data insights and actionable recommendations. The department's focus is on all aspects of business operations, including sales, marketing, and customer experience initiatives.

As a CRM Data Analyst, you will contribute to the activation of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to primarily support our Ticket Sales & Service, Suite Sales & Service, Corporate Development, and Digital Marketing departments. You will partner with each department to assess current challenges and evaluate improvement opportunities through the lens of effective use of the organization's CRM system, Salesforce Sales Cloud.

Your primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
• Design, build, and maintain Salesforce dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (e.g. opportunities, activities)
• Support process-oriented enhancements (e.g. automation) to the CRM system based on new business requirements, observation, individual research, or user feedback
• Support customer segmentation for multi-channel campaigns based on integration of new data sources within Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud platforms
• Support execution and measurement of multi-channel campaigns (e.g. call, email, SMS) with revenue objectives, including customer acquisition, retention, and profile enrichment
• Ensure high level of data quality through support of routine data hygiene (e.g. account/contact de-duplication, data storage) using available tools (Data Loader, Validity DemandTools, and People Import)
• Perform ad-hoc administration activities, including system configuration and user management
• Assist in training CRM system users in one-on-one or classroom settings with relevant training materials
• Assist CRM system users with general support and troubleshooting

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree with a consistent track record of academic, and personal achievement
• Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud
• Familiarity with system or software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Active Salesforce Administrator certification or a willingness to pursue certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including events on nights, weekends, and holidays, if necessary based on business priorities

• The vision requirement includes the ability to review written and electronic materials in both digital and physical format.
• The employee must be able to transfer and move items for departmental needs.
• The employee must be able to adjust to changing work hours and locations as needed in light of the strong focus on external communications and relationships.
