Software Engineer (C++) - High Moon Studios

Great Games Start with Great People! This is a significant time in our company's history – and one of the most exciting times to join us! High Moon Studios is currently looking for a versatile Software Engineer proficient in C/C++ to join our growing team!

What you'll be doing…
• Develop, design, modify, optimize and debug the Call of Duty engine, tools and infrastructure
• Communicate features and collaborate with engineering, design and art teams
• Participate in the design, performance and code review process
• Contribute to design and roadmap of industry-leading AAA games

To succeed you must have…
• Demonstrated proficiency in and knowledge of C/C++, data structures, algorithms, performance, and multi-threaded programming techniques
• Detailed knowledge of software design practices including modular architecture, event-driven architecture, software design patterns and object-oriented design
• Ability to quickly understand and work with internal and externally developed code
• Experience with computer game technologies including: AI programming, physics, 3D programming, animation, collision detection
• Solid understanding of 3D Math
• Proven ability to write clean, readable, portable, reliable, and optimized code
• Good communicator that enjoys collaboration with other programmers, artists and designers
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Math related field
• 3+ years of professional software development experience

We'd love it if you also have…
• Master's degree in a computer science or related field
• Experience working with Computer Graphics and/or other game-related technologies
