Hearst Digital Magazines is looking for a Senior Programmatic Sales Manager to join our growing team. The primary responsibility of this role is to meet and exceed revenue targets while focusing on driving profitable growth.
What you'll do
• This person will be responsible for all programmatic advertising revenue within the assigned list of accounts.
• The ideal candidate must be a digital and programmatic expert with a deep knowledge and understanding of programmatic platforms and ad tech infrastructure.
• This individual will thrive in a collaborative environment and build valuable relationships across internal groups including ad product, data studio, video partnerships, etc.
• Consistent education surrounding the latest technology, trading platforms, and marketing trends is crucial.
Who you are
• 5+ years of digital media experience with at least 3 years of direct experience in the programmatic media ecosystem (DSP, SSP, trading desk)
• Proven track record of success driving programmatic direct revenue and new business development. Strong client and agency trading desk contacts are required.
• Fluency with data terminology and working knowledge of DMP functionality
• Self-motivated with a willingness and comfort working in a 'startup' and agile environment
• Ability to explain and present complex products to both business and technical audiences
• Desire to be a subject matter expert within the organization, with the opportunity to help shape Hearst Digital Magazines' programmatic sales strategy for the future
