Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product Operations, to develop and lead product operations processes that improves efficiency and drives key results.
The person in this role will be focused on both creating – new processes for product operations- and improving – existing processes to match changing objectives and key results. You will be part of a team responsible for the digital transformation of a world-leading media company.
As Senior Manager, Product Operations, you will work closely with executive product owners to both understand process challenges and inefficiencies and communicate changes across the product organization. You will also partner with Design and Engineering to capture a full picture of the goings-on across the Hearst Digital Magazines.
You will also partner across the organization to develop customer intelligence dashboards for product teams and data dashboards tied to company-wide goals. Working closely with product teams, you will communicate how implemented features and products are impacting key results around engagement and advertising growth.
This position is based in New York City at Hearst Tower, the world headquarters of Hearst Communications, Inc.
What you'll do
• Streamlining tasks and processes
• Work with the product team to develop and implement necessary processes such as roadmapping, communications and intake
• Continue to validate and improve these processes and identify what may be necessary to ensure delivery and achieve team key results
• Onboarding
• Build out a standard onboarding process for team members and ensure documentation is updated and accurate.
• Customer Intelligence and Data Dashboards
• Identify a process so that customer feedback is available for product teams and can be incorporated into product development
• Product Marketing
• Work closely with program/project managers to communicate product updates internally and externally
Who you are
• 3+ years in project management in the area of consumer facing Web sites for media & entertainment.
• Experienced in and understand the complexity of working in a mature, geographically spread organization
• Have a track record of building relationships with stakeholders, partners, clients and also individual team members.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Extensive cross-functional and senior stakeholder exposure and management.
