Job Description
Position:
Production Coordinator
Reports To:
WBAL-AM Program Director, WIYY-FM Program Director
Manage the workflow of locally produced commercial spot production from writing through production and ingestion for WBAL-AM (News/Talk/Sports) and WIYY-FM (Rock).
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage commercial production orders from sales department and ensure that they are fulfilled in time for client approval and on-air schedule
• Voice local spot production
• Assign production internally to on-air announcers and copy to outside voice talent
• Write commercial spot copy
• Produce spec spots
• Work closely with sales/marketing staff and local advertisers
• Other station production duties as needed
Experience Requirements:
• Previous audio production experience
• Copywriting
Qualifications Requirements:
• Expertise with Adobe Audition
• Familiarity with Wide Orbit Radio Automation systems a plus
• Strong time management skills
