Job Description
Very Local, Hearst Television's streaming platform, seeks a creative to grow and manage partner marketing opportunities across the company's television stations and other business units.
This position requires a strong sense of creativity, marketing savvy and a deep understanding of television station operations.. This role will support a team responsible for marketing Very Local's product and program offerings.
The Partner Marketing Specialist, Marketing, Streaming Video Services reports to the Creative Manager.
Location: Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Baltimore
• Assist in marketing/creative planning, implementation, and monitoring of Hearst owned and operated strategies to support Very Local and original programming
• Develop and maintain regular communication between Very Local and Hearst Television stations, cultivate strong working relationships across both teams
• Serve as point of contact and liaison between creative services, newsrooms, and digital teams
• Own asset delivery to support Very Local including but not limited to promos/promo toolkits, digital and social assets
• With direction from Creative Manager, assist with development of materials for programming priorities, stunts and tentpole events
• Develop a tracking system for station promotion and archive final assets (promos, brand spots)
Experience Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree required with 5+ years of relevant marketing experience
• Experience working in or with local television stations
• Proven record of identifying and leveraging marketing opportunities with media organizations
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PPT)
• Strong written, verbal, and problem-solving skills
• High initiative and a self-starter
• Extremely detail-oriented and ability to effectively project manage
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced work environment, manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
