Hearst Brand Development is looking for a candidate who will be an integral part of the team. The focus area will be account management of the existing licensee and agency relationships but also assisting in business development areas.
Qualifications:
• 10 years of account management experience
• 5 years of business development experience
• 5 years of licensing experience
• Strategic mindset to building business cases for taking calculated risks to grow consumer products, understanding of business dynamics, and analysis of competitive marketplace.
• Understanding of product trends and business drivers in licensing
• Sound understanding of retail systems and practices
• High-energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate and communicate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver aggressive KPIs
• Strong analytical, research and financial modeling skills
• Understand contract terms and experience working with legal professionals
• Strong written and verbal skills for clear communication.
• Attention to detail, especially when multi-tasking across various projects
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects, prioritizing stakeholder needs
• High-quality interpersonal and influencing skills
• High-level of commitment to a quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance
• Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
The base salary for this role is between $110,000 and $130,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
