Your impact:
Working directly with the editorial team managing WomansDay.com, the editorial
assistant writes and produces content across the site's key beats, executes
SEO-related updates, assists with social media posting and manages various
other editorial administrative tasks.

What you'll do:
• Writes or updates 2-3 SEO galleries daily, under direction from top editors
• Helps program WD's social media feeds, including Instagram and
• Facebook
• Assists web editors with other key editorial production tasks, including
• building stories, syndicating content, sourcing and optimizing images,
• research and fact-checking as needed
• Attend and cover press previews and other industry events as relevant
Who you are:
• Previous experience writing lifestyle-related content, either in an internship or in a freelance or full-time position, at a digital publication
• A clear, creative, and technically spotless writing style
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
• Previous experience with a content management system and social
• scheduling tools and tactics
The base salary for this role is between $50,000 - $52,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
