Hearst Luxury Collection is looking for a Digital Marketing Director who will define the digital marketing vision and lead digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, customer, and sales growth for the Tower . The Digital Marketing director is responsible for planning, implementing and tracking digital marketing programs, including but not limited to performance marketing, customer retention & CRM, email marketing, and search engine optimization. By taking a hands-on approach in the planning, development and launching of campaigns and sharing learnings and recommendations with the internal team, we expect the Digital Marketing Director to build and grow underdeveloped marketing channels to reach new audiences and expand the brand presence in new markets.

This position will sit within the merchandising team and will work closely with the e-commerce and editorial teams for the Tower. The digital marketing director will work cross-functionally with Hearst audience acquisition, data and creative teams
- you will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most passionate and creative team members in the entire industry. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the luxury e-commerce industry and is an innovative, creative, cross-team collaborator.

What you'll do
• Performance Marketing: Plan and manage performance marketing budget by ensuring spending is being optimized across channels in order to attain goals
• Manage proprietary targeting strategies in paid channels, optimizing and testing to support relevant business KPIs and goals
• Actively monitor performance across channels on a daily basis, ensuring campaigns are executed and performance is in line with expectations
• Collaborate with internal and external agency partners to manage paid channels, including social, search, display, and affiliate
• Retention & CRM: Create and help implement a comprehensive CRM, email + SMS marketing strategy with the goal of improving engagement, retention, and customer LTV
• Own and develop overall email strategy for four Tower brands, focused on list growth and optimization strategies with a mindset towards continuous improvement and efficacy.
• Create and implement a loyalty program.
• O versee the development and maintenance of transactional and triggered email programs
• Organic Content: Research industry competitive strategies, identifying and leveraging content marketing opportunities to grow our business
• Collaborate with editorial team to develop content marketing SEO strategy to support organic content ideas, organic social media reporting and providing best practice recommendations.
• Provide weekly and monthly email-content reporting and analysis.
• Own and develop affiliate and influencer programs, delivering programs from launch to analysis
• Budgeting: Own digital marketing budget planning, allocation, management and reporting process.
• Reporting: Analyze past program performance as well as industry trends to develop plans and recommendations for the optimal marketing mix.
• Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting on digital marketing channel performance , content performance tracking and marketing campaign test results
• Team: Collaborate with the merchant, ad sales and editorial teams to ensure that the content marketing calendar is translated across digital channels
• Own the relationship with external agencies and partner with internal teams.
• Manage 1 Direct report.

Who you are
• Bachelor's Degree
• 6-8 years of digital marketing experience in e-commerce, advertising, fashion/lifestyle retail preferred
• Demonstrated experience growing e-commerce businesses, with focus on strategies supporting conversion focused KPIs as well as media engagement KPIs
• Experience driving revenue growth and customer acquisition through the implementation of innovative digital media strategies
• Experience managing multiple campaigns at the same time and partnering across multiple internal and external teams, incorporating innovative and flexible problem-solving to ensure delivery and success
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Creative thinker with a flexible, approachable attitude with creative problem-solving skills and collaborative approach to challenges
• Analytics and results oriented, defining and prioritizing metrics to drive business outcomes
• Deep understanding of social media and digital marketing practices
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience in influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders and defining operational success
• Knowledge of consumer behavior, with a demonstrated experience utilizing consumer research and data to inform marketing strategies
• Proficiency with Google Analytics and Excel.
• Experience with marketing and analytics tools like Google Tag Manager, Google Adwords, Facebook Ad Manager, Listrak, Rakuten, Skimlinks, Optimizely
• Luxury experience a plus

The base salary for this role is between $107,000 and $150,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future
