Job Description
Women's Health is looking for a commerce editor with a passion for creating shoppable content to join its integrated print-digital team. This person will create commerce content across all verticals, including fitness, health, sex & relationships, food, and lifestyle. This role will include a mixture of writing, assigning to freelance writers, and editing, and requires prior experience optimizing stories for SEO and interviewing experts on a variety of topics. The ideal candidate for this role will also have a passion for data, regularly analyzing top-performing ecommerce topics and using that knowledge to ideate new franchise and story opportunities.

This is a full-time position based in Women's Health's office in New York City.

What You'll Do:
• Write multiple stories per week, ranging from slideshows, to listicles, to expert-based articles, and more.
• Research and pitch new story ideas based on performance data.
• Assign articles to freelance writers and edit those stories with keen attention to detail.
• Train writers on ecommerce best practices.
• Attend and cover press previews and other industry events as needed

Who You Are:
• You have at least three years experience writing and editing commerce content online.
• You are well-versed in SEO best practices.
• You have a basic understanding of analytics and digital best practices.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to juggle many deadlines at once.
• You hold a Bachelor's degree.
The base salary for this role is between $65,000 and $75,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
