Overview

Hearst Media Production Group is actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Client Activation Director to join our growing Business Development team, which works with brands, non-profits, and high net-worth individuals on original series on Broadcast Network Television and digital content. This is a full-time role that will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day project management, execution, and client-service for all non-production related activations (e.g. Marketing, PR, social) of series' partnerships. This individual work with multiple internal stakeholders and serve as the key client contact to ensure a positive, streamlined experience for our partners who fund multi-million-dollar, multi-platform media programs that positively inspire people's lives.

This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Managing Director of Sales and is based in Hearst's new facility in Charlotte, NC.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Liaises with all internal departments including Production, Research, Digital / Social, and PR to ensure that all stakeholders are consistently informed and adhering to the terms of partnership deals, with a key focus to ensure activation strategies align with core partner goals, brand philosophies, and KPIs
• Responsible for successful new season onboarding and strategic execution of all non-production elements, with ability to pivot strategies and maintain budgets with shifting client needs
• Collaborate with Research to ensure that client's measurement and reporting needs are consistently and effectively communicated throughout the broadcast season, inclusive of Nielsen ratings, social media metrics, earned media reach, and custom study analysis
• Collaborate with sales lead to construct strategic renewal proposals, highlighting overall partnership performance and investment impact analysis
• Oversee continuous development and optimization of the CRM process to maintain a high standard of client communication with strategic touchpoints from onboarding and throughout production cycle
• Ideate against additional business growth opportunities for existing clients, including incremental digital solutions & marketing extensions

Experience
• 6+ years of experience in Marketing, Project Management, or Brand / Partnership Activation
• Interest in Sales and Business Development growth trajectory

Qualifications
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills and the comfort to interact with all internal and external stakeholders, including senior-level executives
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a cross functional, collaborative working environment
• Strong understanding of marketing solutions and experience working with teams to ensure proper implementation and optimization
• Ability to problem solve, facilitate solutions, formulate, and recommend strategies to maximize impact
• Ability to adapt to change, influence, and act as a team player
• Data-driven, results-oriented, detail-obsessed

Education
• Related experience and/or training considered as well as a combination of education and experience.
